Pioneering executive risk training through proven crisis leadership methodologies
Tusch brothers brewery emerged from observing a gap in executive training: senior executives making critical decisions under pressure without specific preparation for crisis leadership. Our founders, with combined decades in military command, emergency response, and corporate crisis management, recognized that traditional business education may not address high-stakes decision-making scenarios.
We developed our methodology by studying crisis situations across industries and analyzing decision-making patterns. Our training focuses on practical exercises designed to help executives practice decision-making skills in controlled environments that simulate high-pressure situations.
Every simulation, cognitive bias drill, and incident command exercise is designed to provide executives with structured practice opportunities for crisis decision-making scenarios.
Our methodology focuses on decision-making practice in controlled environments. Rather than traditional presentations, we use scenario-based exercises with incomplete information and time constraints. We create cognitive load similar to what executives may face in crisis situations to provide realistic practice opportunities.
Exercises are designed to challenge participants with decision-making scenarios that simulate high-pressure business situations. We observe decision-making speed and approach as pressure increases, providing feedback on performance patterns.
Our facilitators include former military commanders, emergency response leaders, and executives with crisis management experience. They bring practical knowledge from managing real crisis situations to guide participants through training exercises.
We track feedback from program alumni who have faced various business challenges. Participants report that the training exercises provided useful preparation for high-pressure decision-making situations they encountered in their roles.
The cognitive bias training component has been noted by participants as helpful in their decision-making processes. Program alumni have shared examples of how the training exercises influenced their approach to complex business situations, though individual results may vary based on many factors.
Our certification provides documentation of completed training for executive development records. The program is designed to complement existing leadership development initiatives and provide additional perspective on crisis decision-making approaches.
